Artists
Sam Austin’s is an indie-alternative artist from Detroit, MI, known for his genre-blending sound and immersive, melodic style. Raised amidst Detroit’s gritty music scene, Sam’s art draws on personal experiences with neighborhood violence and family challenges, which have shaped his raw, resonant music and unique stage presence. Now based in Los Angeles, he has performed across North America and at major festivals, including Lollapalooza, where his storytelling and powerful performances has solidified him as an artist to watch.
Sam’s latest single "Seasons" found viral success, drawing over 2 million impressions online and sparking a wave of new fans eager for his next project, "The Woods, Vol. 1". This EP, infused with Detroit ghettotech and electronic influences, explores themes of self-discovery. In 2025, Sam will continue to bring his story to the world, promising audiences an experience that’s not only sonically rich but deeply emotional and connective.
More recently, Sam Austin’s was featured in Pigeons and Planes' new live show series Medium Sized Backyard on socials and Youtube, with over 1M views, and will also host a guest show on NTS Radio, both in conjunction with the release of The Woods. These appearances are part of his broader vision to expand his audience and continue pushing the boundaries of his craft.
